Hi !

As it's my first post, let's do some basics ;). I'm a 28yo man from France. I play poker since few years, and always like a home game when i can do one. Playing mostly online, i never won big but i keep playing to have fun.

I first came here from another french forum, and after spending last weeks looking for my first set, i decided to join your club :). I just hope i'm not going to be addict to this buying chip thing cause my house couldn't accept it ahah !

Hello i just comeback from your country ;) !
You are right, i forgot few things.
I just own since 2 weeks a James Bond Casino Royale travel set and i bought 50 more chips to complete it. That's all atm.

From what i saw while visiting this forum, my dream set looks like a JACK Detroit, but as we say, keep dreaming ahah !

Not a bad set to get things started.


Jack Detroit are absolutely dreamy and they aren't actually too bad in comparison to some of the sets on this forum. The real money to be spent is in the fractional chips!


It doesn't hurt to dream! One day I'll have a set of WTHC I'm sure.

We will play tournament, more like SnG 5/6 players at least but i hope to be able to play with more on one table. Maybe we will do some cash game if we finally become regular. I read a lot of post from on the french forum ;) and it's your thread on that forum with links for this one that makes me come here ahah !!

I was in London not in USA last week-end. But went to Florida earlier this year.
My home game in Paris will be very close to you if your location is still correct ;).

Everybody keep saying that "get samples" thing, so i can't say actually for the chips. Like i said to @AlwaysDefend the JACK Detroit are really the design i like for now, but WTCH are awesome too.
I already have an idea about which chips i'm going to look for as samples. But i think i'll try to find them here, because shipping cost are expensives just for samples : $25 for $35 chips.

I have tons of sample sets if you want to buy with a hand delivery (no shipping cost) :tup:

Your Pr0n thread :). But i also read a lot of post from you about chips distribution before buying a set.
I'm not yet registered on it. I choosed to start with one forum and prefered the international one.
