This was my first attempt at cleaning poker chips of any kind.
here are my results and a quick guide on how I did it.
Chip selection - Paulson Solids Roulette Chips w/HotStamp (Clay Chips)
What I used to clean the chips
Savogran TSP was the only brand they had at my local Home Depot ( I had the option of powder or Liquid)
Step One - Microwaved about 4 cups of water for 2mins and mixed it with 2oz of TSP
Step Two - I dabbed the brush in the solution and gave all the chips a pre scrub
Step Three - I soaked the Chips in the Solution for about 10 Mins
Step Four - after soaking for 10 mins I grabbed 1 chip at a time and scrubbed the chip with the brush.
Note: at this point the Foil Hot stamps were scrubbing right off.
If you want to preserve the hot stamp this is NOT the solution of cleaning for you.
Step Five - allow to soak for another 10 mins and scrub the chips after 10 mins of soaking.
Step Six - Rinse and soapy water then clean water
Step Seven - Dry (I used a air compressor to dry chips)
at this point they were clean but looked a little dull
Step Nine - I put a few drops of oil on a cloth and wiped the chips completely
Here are all the chips compared - Bottom chips are end results
