My buddy has a rack of these roulette chips that I am going to pick up from him to label as quarters.

I want to give him a fair price. Does anyone know the going rate on these?

Thanks,

If they were on the THC mold I would say they retail for around $1 per chip, although some roulette chips on the THC mold have sold on the boards for as low as $30/rack - even chips in fantastic shape! The roulette mold doesn't sell quite as well. Keep your eye on this auction, as it's a comparable item (although the chips in the auction appear to be in better condition). It should give you some idea of where the market might be for roulette mold chips.

my opinion of relabel without any recess sucks not matter how thin....been there tried it, you wont like it even if he gave you the chips for free....go find a recessed inlay chip at a reasonable cost or there are a bunch of quarters floating around at low prices.....i would have killed to buy quarters at the price they are today as compared to about 5-6 years ago...

Those chips being auctioned look to be in mint or near mint condition. The ones under consideration have no hot stamp left (at least on the one shown). I'd guess $40 to $50 for the rack would be generous. But who knows these days?

They are a bit worn and discolored....and they are roulette mold....I would honestly say 25c each at most. They are not from a popular classic casino

I was thinking about scraping them. I am still not sure if I would just use these as is for quarters until I find a suitable replacement with no label. I was hoping that a 2mm non laminated label would fit. Of course I am trying to find a quarter for a set that hasn't seen any action in like a year.

I just bought a rack of Aztar roulettes with the same mold (basically same condition too).....using them as T1000 chips for my fundraising tourneys (because I don't want to use my oversized 1k's unless its at my house). No labels, and they have faded hot stamps. I think they are perfect for filler chips to use
