Hi all,

I have a range of MSK sample plaques cluttering up the place and wondered if anyone was interested in a particular size or style and wanted to check them out. FREE, but you pay shipping, and pass them on to anyone else once you are done. Below is a pic with the sizes. I think shipping should be $7USD to anywhere in the world (postage and packaging ).

Love the Flying Fortress

Here is me at the left waist gun, and in the co-pilot's seat of Sally B. Duxford, England (September 1999).

I was really blessed to get 'inside' Sally B. I went to the airshow hoping to see her fly, but she was grounded with engine trouble. I saw people milling around her and even popping in for a look around. I hailed a 'crew' member and explained I had come all the way from Oz to see her, and wondered who the people were that were getting to go inside. Association members. For a 'fiver', I became a temporary member and went through the fuselage door and was in heaven. I could have sat in their all day. Brave boys to fly these in daylight, even with the firepower.

Do you still have any of the MSK plaques you're willing to part with? I'm going back and forth between ceramics and the MSK, and I figure the best idea would just be to get a couple of each in my hand to compare.

You can contact MSK and get samples from them. I believe @jbutler even said they were free if he paid shipping, or maybe he didn't even pay shipping. I bet he will be along shortly to clarify.

Just checked my old emails. Looks like I paid $30 shipping for a set of plaques and jetons from South Korea.

@MacGrad if you want to check out the samples I'd be glad to send them, but honestly it would probably be cheaper to just pay MSK to ship to you rather than paying the shipping from US to CA and back. Let me know if you want the email for my contact at MSK I'll PM you.

No biggie -- I just figured I'd check, instead of posting a thread and having people tell me to "use the search function".
