There isn't enough strategy involved in this hand to qualify as a strategy thread, but this was a fun hand, comments on all streets are welcome, but I'm going to skip right to the end.

.25/.50 Online PLO 6 max table
This is my very first hand and I post in the cutoff

UTG ($50) raises to $2.25
MP ($20) calls
I ($50) call with :8c::7h::js::ac:
Button ($46) calls
SB ($50) calls
BB ($60) calls

Six of us see the flop: :4c::6c::qh:

SB checks
BB checks
UTG bets $13.50
MP goes all in for $17
I call
Button folds
SB goes all in
BB folds
MP calls
I call

Four all in:
SB has :qd::qs::kc::jc: - top set and a 2nd nut flush draw
UTG has :5c::7c::8s::ks: - open ended straight flush draw and the 8 to go with it
MP has :4h::5h::4s::7s: - bottom set and an open ended straight draw
I have :8c::7h::js::ac: - nut flush and inside straight draws

flop: :4c::6c::qh:
Turn :9d:
River :3h

MP and UTG both end up with the same 7-high straight for the winner.

You can tell I'm not used to non-NL Hold'Em since I kept thinking the UTG had an 8-high straight. :( I gotta get more exposure.

Regardless, that was interesting in how it worked out.

Interesting the equity with these hands pre. You were at 17%, UTG 12%, MP 34% and SB 37%.
Post flop you were at 18%, UTG 21%, MP 18%, and SB 43%.
On the turn, you were at 9%, UTG, 17%, MP 11%, and SB 63%.

It just shows how much variance there is in Omaha.

I'm still learning PLO. How was UTG allowed to raise to $2.25? Seems to me that the max he could put in would be $1.75. (.50x3 + .25) What am I missing?

I posted my blind in the cutoff, so there was an extra 50c in the pot. So 50+50+25=125 to start.

When you raise the pot, you 'call' the bet (50c) first and count that amount as part of the pot.

So when he raises the pot the pot value is 125+ the 50 that it would have cost to call = 175 or a total bet of 225.

Maybe there is a mistake in the hands? You have nothing, not a straight. You would need a five in your hand to make the straight.
Yep, missed my flush too. MP and UTG are the lucky/smart ones in this hand.

Ahh.. gotcha. I missed the part that you posted since it was your first hand. That is a crazy hand for sure.
