Does anyone know if slot/gaming tokens are a consistent size?

I was considering getting a barrel of slot tokens to use as fracs for a vintage vegas set.

Typically the dollar tokens are similar in size, fracs and higher denominations vary, fracs are typically similar to coin size, higher denom are larger.

sorry, I should have also asked, the are normally also slightly smaller than quarters, right?

I personally wouldn’t want to splash them with clay. Danger danger to the clay.

I have a ton of $1 tokens. I will compare to a quarter if I can find a quarter around here.

I kinda had the same thought, and the more I think about it, I think this is a good call.

Just thinking about alternatives to fracs for a set of dunes and there are tons of dunes slot tokens out there.

For slot tokens

$1s are usually 37-38 mm, a bit smaller than 39 mm chips
$2s are usually 36 mm
$5s are usually 45 mm
$10s are usually 43 mm

I've heard there were people who machine off the rim of $1 tokens to make it size like $2 tokens, then use it as $2 (see the screenshot from all-chips.com).
