Not Mine Gemaco 2 Deck Set Plastic Playing Cards (1 Viewer)

Can I ask a stupid question...are these rare? I ask because four years ago I was trying to find Gemaco "Five-Star" style, bridge size, regular index, full bleed setups, which I eventually found but an intermediary needed to order them from Gemaco because they weren't regularly stocked and the minimum purchase to me was six setups. So I bought them (3 red/blue, 3 green/brown) but I've only ever used one of each color combo. They're my absolute favorite card, and I never considered selling the unused ones because I figured there wasn't much of a market for them. Anyone have an opinion?

I'd venture to say there is probably a market here for them. The chipoholics, plaqueophiles, and card addicts here will buy pretty much anything related.

However, I'm not a fan of the Gemaco Five Star cards. Most of mine came from Jim @ TCR and are casino-branded. I've found that they get dirty very quickly, and even after being cleaned, won't last a single play session without getting so dirty that they are essentially 'marked'. Weirdest thing I've ever seen, and I have a shit-ton of different card set-ups.

Never a problem with the Gemaco Superflex cards, however. Those are one of my favorites of all time. :)

Superflex cards are available at Kardwell.com. Not my favorite sellers by any means, but they do have some cool stuff.

Kardwell has these for half the price listed above. Am I missing something? Is Kardwell out of favor with folks? High shipping perhaps?

Thanks.

I agree with @BGinGA, regarding Suplerflex. I have a set of Grand Victoria, which are GEMACO Superflex. I love the cards. If only they were jumbo.

You know what's interesting, like I said, I got both Green/Brown and Red/Blue setups in 2013. The Red/Blue ones have this "S" logo where the Five-Star design is on the Green/Brown ones, but both color combos include that card...I don't know what it's called; it's got the manufacturer's info on it...could be like a third joker...that indicate that they're Superflex cards. And upon comparing them to the Gemaco Five-Stars that I already had & had been using for a while at that time, there was a difference to the feel of the new ones, so assuming you're right and there is a difference between Five Star and Superflex, I think the six setups I have are Superflex, despite the Green/Brown ones actually having five stars on the back.

I haven't looked on Kardwell recently but at the time I couldn't find the specific combination I was looking for (but knew existed): Bridge size, regular index, full-bleed, which happens to be what the Fitz cards are.

Thanks.
