I'd be fine with CCs. Depends on who can make them
You might want to check with @Apache. He has the connections and is very active here.

This would be amazing if we can get a new CC color/edgespot combo out of it.I'd be good with putting Atlantic City at the bottom of the logo. Does give it a nice touch.
If this gets off the ground I will definitely contact him, even if I'm not the one that runs it. Seems like CC will be the way to go with these
China Clays are out?
I'd say so. Unless you can get china clays produced with difference edgespots on each denomination.
Well look at that, you're right. I never noticed. That's progress! You mean like the Dunes?
Nothing wrong with going with hybrids that ~look~ like those CPCs, though (minus the A-mold markings).I like the CPC's, but I know that the price would put me right out.

The "all chips can be redeemed at anytime" is also no longer true.
Level of interest for me is:
China Clay - (y)
Hybrid - Hhhmm...probably not once the Boardwalks go through
CPC - (n)
Yyyyyup. Too many hands in the Sunfly hybrid cookie jar at the moment. But do we really want 2 AC sets in the same mold? That's the thought I've been having
Agree, printing mold characteristics on ceramics is tricky at best, and often can actually cheapen the end result rather than embellish it.Hybrids are a good option. My only concern is the printing/shadowing of the house denom mold. Its tough to get that right.
No interest here whatsoever in a china clay version..... the required silver tint on the cheap factory labels is a deal-breaker with these for me (and I suspect many others). The design screams for a high-res printed true white label.

It would add some extra expense (about 10c/chip for 40,000 chips), but Sun-Fly is capable of creating a custom mold with the casino name actually engraved in the mold (rather than printed to appear engraved). At roughly four grand, It would be too costly to have a separate denom mold for each denomination chip, however. Given these are intended as tribute chips, there is some degree of artistic difference that can still be considered acceptable.
*clip*...what would these cost per chip to get done as CPC?
That's also retail, and not a quantity rate. Even so, at anything near those prices, I'm sure the majority of people here would rather have customs.Based on Tommy's post (#42) on the A-mold:
25c = $1.57 (LVL 1)
$1 = $2.96 (LVL 7)
$5 = $2.18 (LVL 4)
$20 (yellow) = $2.18 (LVL 4)
$25 = $3.46 (LVL 9)
$100 = $3.46 (LVL 9)
$500 = $2.71 (LVL 6)
This doesn't include additional CPC fees for paypal/taxes/design fees (if any)

Wellllll that's a matter of perspective. Numerous casino chips are on the same mold, same ceramic blanks, numerous custom sets on the same molds, etc. Spots and labels set them apart from each other.. But do we really want 2 AC sets in the same mold? That's the thought I've been having
