Do any of you ever feel like you've hit a point where you're no longer learning new aspects of the game? I play NLHE almost exclusively, usually online at $50 or $100NL and generally do well in these games, but I kind of feel like I've hit a ceiling that I can't break through. I'm not saying that I'm a fantastic player in any sense, but I feel like I generally have a good read on the table dynamic and that I'm generally good at ranging my opponents which is something that I struggled with when starting online poker.
I want to take my game to the next level, and I feel that the next level involves a lot of mathematics such as knowing (as much as I can) how beneficial my plays are in terms of expected value.
I would love to hear feedback from you guys as to how to advance my game and where I can find good resources that explain expected value in detail. Also, I would love to know if any of you have ever felt the same way and what you did to break through that barrier.
Thanks so much guys!
