I had an adventure in Reno and Lake Tahoe this past weekend. On my trip I was able to get several promo chips and noticed the giant hat and cane on the $5 promo chips from Harrah'sq. I kept the best 2 they gave me.

Any promo chip Pron out there?

What did you have to do to get them? I don't have any 48mm chips, promotional or not.

There were some Sam's Town 48mm NCV fat hats in quantities floating around a while back. Todd currently has some on 50mm NCV Palms on the fat hat mold on eBay right now...

Not much actually since I am a couple hours away. I got a Total Rewards card, their point tracking mumbo jumbo, which is used for the Ceasar's properties. I stayed at Lake Tahoe Harrah's some time ago, which is also linked with Harvey's. Honestly, I didn't do much in the way of gambling there, maybe a couple hundred bucks total and they started sending me food and table play promo comps. I went this past weekend and stayed in Harvey's this time for a bachelor party. Went to the cage and they gave me 8 of these promo chips.

They must be trying to attract people during the summer. There is much higher traffic for snow sports during the winter.

I did win a decent amount so maybe they just want their money back? Good thing I won more this past weekend .

I am not used to seeing promo chips of that size at the casinos I have gone to. Imagine my surprise when there was a giant hat and cane on the edges. I was in Reno just earlier that day and the Harrah's there uses bud jones promo chips of the regular size.
