That was quick! Report back please. Would be curious to know how it compares to that blue topper you already have. Personally $58 seems over-priced for this one (without knowing the quality) but $27 seems like a good enough price to take a chance and try it out.

That was my thinking :) yes will do.

So here is my review:
The quality is less than the blue one (Rally Roar) and it comes in a standard black carry bag with a cardboard role pole in it. It has a nice give to the felt for shuffling and easy handling. The white line around the rim is low quality and sometimes cards and fingers get caught on it, but that might be an isolated problem with the used one :)

Overall if I had to pay full price for this which comes in around $60 or the other Rally Roar blue one. I'd get the rally one which comes with the nice hard case and better quality. I'm really happy to pay around $30 for this though as a carpet and back up one

@VMR911 it's like your review conjured another one into existence! (Hmm, I can't seem to edit the subject anymore...)

Here's another one for $27.01! Click on "See All Buying Options" on the right.

It's condition is Used - Very Good (so not as good as "Like New" in the OP), and the condition is described as "Small cosmetic imperfection on top, front or sides of item. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged."

Usually if an item comes in a box, the cosmetic imperfection is on box not on the item itself. Someone could always buy and return if they don't like it.

How does it get caught? Does it come off the mat or the texture is not smooth?
I assume the texture is different and grippier than the rest of the surface, so it causes cards and fingers to "skid" or stop/slow when moving across it.

Is the Rally Roar one thinner, thicker, or the same?

Oh I just realized it might be a sticky paint they used to stop the cards from flying off the table. Might be by design or it might be by mistake. Its definitely a preference

Thank you! I picked up one based on your review. I wanted green, but the design is not bad on the blue.
Honestly you won't regret it. The folding to fit in the hard case requires 2 people or finessing but it's definitely the most fun topper I have played on :) you'll enjoy it

Maybe I'll try to see if I have a thin PVC pipe laying around. In the reviews it said to roll it up a certain direction so the edges stay flat on the table. Any words on that?

Hm, I don't have enough exposure on that. Can't comment but the quality is so high that I personally don't forsee the edges becoming curved

One edge did curl up. I'll find a pipe or cardbord roll or something to keep the shape.

I haven't tried it, but I think rolling it up in the other direction might help. Maybe make it worse? Well I'm either using it as a computer pad or selling it locally.

It's not a bad curl, some weight on it takes care of it. I'll see if it persists but tbh, such a great color and feel. I'll keep it

Hopefully it will fit in the carrying case that came with Rally Roar, but I doubt it'll fit given it's thickness. Maybe if rolled up tightly. Maybe rolled up tightly will damage it? Idk get we won't know til months from now.

Oh yeah the PCF one looks so thick. I don't know if rolling it tight to fit in the Rally Roar case
