Not Mine Good deal, so so, or regretful purchase? (1 Viewer)

I have a set of these and while I wouldn't mind having more, I wouldn't pay that price to add on.

My opinion is that the fives are worth about 50 cents per and the 25s around 75 cents per.

I also don't think $400 is a terrible price to pay for them in this market either.

I don't see them come up in large quantities as much anymore.

Once upon a time, used primary casino chips sold for about 1/4 to 1/3 of the cost of the uncirculated secondary chips from the same casino.

Using that standard, an 80c primary $25 would indicate a typical market value of $2.40-$3.20 for the secondary $25s, which is definitely not supported by the actual prices they are selling for these days.

The fives are pretty rounded. The 25s aren't as worn but I don't think they will stand on end.

Good deal for the seller, I wouldn't pay anywhere close to that. Though I won't buy anything that won't stand on edge unless they were incredibly cheap.
