This is the third custom set designed for the House of Lucky Dog. A few years back Jim B from ASM broke out the Smooth No Mold press for a special offer to the Chiptalk community. At that time my wife and I were discovering some unique history regarding my wife's Great Aunt Elaine Townsend who happened to be the only female gambling impresario in the world owning major casino interests in Havana during the 40's and 50's. Elaine entered the gaming industry in Havana in 1947 by purchasing the dice concession at the Gran Casino Nacional for $30,000. The inlay and the chips were designed and produced by Jim Blanchard former owner of ASM and present producer of chips for CPC. I absolutely love this set and play with it frequently. This classic simple old school design could easily have seen the felt of a Havana casino during Elaine's reign. This set is the first of several sets paying tribute to Elaine's unique history in the gambling business. I intend to post pictures of all the Elaine Townsend tribute chips over the next few days. Enjoy!

Im a very big fan of the no mold chips and with that inlay these are a great example of how nice they can be!

Thanks!
I'll be posting pictures of a custom set using the Textured No Mold chips soon. I'll be curious to see if you like them. It's a 4 chip set, tone on tone quarter pie set with the larger inlay. I hope to post pictures later this week.

I cant wait to take a look at those too!

Wow! A great classic old-school set.

I imagine it won't be long before we see some new members here from Cuba.

These are amazing. Look like they could've come straight from Cuba in the 50s.
