Found Grand Vic Primaries (1 Viewer)

Hi All!

I know there have been posts in the past about this (sorry for the redundancy), but since I recently purchased a large Grand Vic Primary cash set off @TheJestyr, I figured I'd repost.

Primaries I'm looking for:

$25 - 9 (there are some on eBay, but it's coming out to about $4/chip shipped for 9, so I figured I'd check here first)
$100, $500, $1000 - whatever you would be willing to sell

Ideally, I just want to round out the set with some higher denoms that I could use for a small tournament. I'm flexible on pricing, especially for the higher denoms, so any wisdom you have for me would be extremely appreciated.

$4 a chip for primary $25's is absolutely insane. Those chips just recently practically couldn't be given away at $50 a rack.

Agreed. I figured the higher denoms could be more of a gradual endeavor, but I have 9 open slots in my rack of $25's and my anal self can't handle it. [emoji4]

Many thanks to @bivey and @TheJestyr for offering their GV primaries!

Thanks to them, I was able to pick up:

20 x $25
81 x $100
16 x $500

Going forward, the quantities I would be looking for are

19 x $100 (to get to 1 full rack)
34 x $500 (to get to 1/2 rack)
50 x $1000 (to get to 1/2 rack)

I know the $500 and $1000 chips are not the easiest to find, so I would greatly appreciate it if you could please keep me in mind if you happen to come across any.

Since joining this community a month ago, it's been a privilege to give you fine folks my money in exchange for some beautiful chips. Let's keep it going

You may find the price tag on those $1000s harder to stomach than the difficulty of the search. Unlike the rest of the set, the price difference between the primary and secondary $1000 chips is basically nil. And not cheap.... expect to pay upwards of $700 for a half-rack.

How am I going to explain to my wife that I "need" to spend $700 on 50 chips? Oh well, 11 years together was a pretty good run....

Thanks! I've considered it before but figured I'd give it the old college try to collect them. After hearing about the cost of $1000s, re-labeling is certainly not something I will write off, especially seeing how well they turned out for you.

Are there any GV Primary $1000s out there? I'm at 22 and would like to get to 50 (link below to my set). Also looking for a 43mm rack to hold these fine chips. Going rate is $15 per chip, so sell now to free up capital for other ventures
