Hello, Poker Chip forum. I'm the Stark half of McClure and Stark who are new site vendors here and I'm the designer of the new Latin Quarter cards and chips that @ODDSMAKER003 posted here:

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/hello-everyone.48141/

and here

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/introducing-latin-quarter-gaming-chips.48321/

I'm a newcomer to the world of poker chips and playing card design. I have an extensive graphic design and advertising background and you can check out some of my work on Instagram if you are interested @starkdesignsllc

I'm hoping to learn all about poker chips and what you really look for in a chip. Nice to meet you all.

Welcome to PCF!!! Thanks for all your awesome work!!! Glad to have you with us

Very interesting... welcome friend, extensive background sounds awesome!! Is it your plan to work with chippers on inlay designs and such in the future? Or is this more along the lines of you are only working on your own vendor work?? I know there are always people looking for design help!! Definitely hope to see more of your work in the future!!

Hi @Ben8257 My intention was to look to design stuff that would have broad appeal to the community but I'm always open to offering design critiques to people who are working on their own projects. Stuff like "Maybe you don't want to use Comic Sans as your font..." ;) Right now I just want to learn more about the community and the hobby so I can better understand what you guys like and want in a chip.

Many members are about simple classic old school design inlays... I like seeing things taken to the nex th level! Mr. Steve @Quicksilver-75 is the designer of The Silver Tounged Devil series... my absolute favorite inlays and custom pieces like the bounties seen here, he always goes that extra mile to take his standard design and maximize it in every way with allowing it to become cluttered... such a perfectionist that he has re-designed the high hand plaques 3 times and the bounties twice to achieve exactly what he is looking for. Never settling for good enough puts my friend Steve in the record books for me! I would love to see other sets expand past simply chips, but the technology that can be used in modern inlays is insane!! I believe there is a market for taking graphic design to the next level... I have buddies on here that with simple home programs have really designed some interesting things, some that I feel like would make casinos want to step up their game as well... again I look forward to seeing where your journey takes you sir! Sorry I don't have better pictures but I can take some when I get home to show that attention to detail I speak of. Always chipping buddy Ben

Those are very cool. Some of the designs are very reminiscent of vintage poster design for magic acts from the early part of the 20th century. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing!
