Welcome Roach. I'm from the Austin area as well!

There was a board before this referred to as the blue board (background was blue) called Chiptalk.net Not sure what all lead to the downfall as I didn't keep up at the time but eventually that forum closed and this one came up. They are created so other poker chip enthusiasts like us can get together to talk about chips, buy/sell chips, and learn about chips amongst other things. It's a great community we have here with lots of friendly folks willing to help you learn and find the chips you want. Ask away if you have any questions.
