It's really not everyone. It's pretty much just me and one other guy on eBay. But we've got into such a pissing match, we've sent the prices through through the roof.

That happens to me on the Sahara $1's. I let some go just not to drive the price up. I guess those are harder to pass up because they don't come up very often.

I guess there's more than one person out there willing to pay crazy money for these chips - I got at least double sniped.
It's crazy. When I started buying these last summer, I was getting them for a buck or two apiece. Now, a lot with 3 of them buried in a pile of poop sells for $80.
I'm not giving up, but I may let off the accelerator a bit and just be content with my heads-up set, for now.
