Not saying this is the case here but I have spoken to some companies on Alibaba and asking the chips pictured gets the response "this mold is broken"

To be fair(ish), most of the companies that do this on Alibaba have a disclaimer in the "View All Item Info" that says the pictures aren't indicative of the product (so that makes it perfectly okay, right?). But this one doesn't... You flick through their pix and they have pictures of these...

but then they also have pictures of these...

I wonder which one you'd actually get...

I've seen these overseas "ads" for some time, & I am fairly sure they are just using stock pictures of actual Paulson chips & wording to get you to land on their ad, & then as mentiond by others, bait and switch to some other different plastic chip once you enquire ...

I've never needed a run of 500,000 chips so no, unfortunately. But I'm sure they're top notch and totally responsible.

You can order super small orders from Alibaba. Most of them are retail shops, as opposed to manufacuters and they most of them sell the same stock.

From what I have seen they are on the low end of chip quality. The only reasonable Chinese manufacturer I found was sun-fly.
