For Sale Harrah’s Casino New Orleans $5, $25, $100, $500, $1000 - almost 1800 chips available (17 Viewers)

If you missed out on these sets and want to build a custom set or want to add on to a set you bought, I am downsizing from the many I bought and have about 1800 available. These are beautiful chips that clean up nicely. Not sure if they are leaded, but are as heavy as other leaded chips I have. I have not felted these chips.

Quantities and pricing breakdown below. I believe these are TCR prices (some are implied because we’re not sold individually).

Somewhat dibs sale but will give preference to larger orders through this weekend.

I bought a cash set and then I’ve bought a good number of extras from other members. I was very tempted to go the same route you went.

I saw some conversation in the TCR discussion about these chips of whether they are leaded or not. I don’t know if it was definitively answered. I think they have a leaded feel. Did some weighing of other known leaded and not leaded chips for comparison.

Weight (grams) of barrel of $25’s:
Harrah’s (not Casino) - 228.4
Empress Joliet - 218.2
Harrah’s Casino - 209.7
Dunes - 198.5
Horseshoe Cleveland (not leaded) - 190.5

Weight seems to be more like leaded than unleaded.

I think I am going to be able to fill most of the requests on here but there is a possible large order that would probably mean some of the smaller orders could be impacted, probably the $100 and $1000 chips. Still some $500’s and $5’s available.

Also, in case anybody is looking for some other denominations, I have auctions going for $1’s, $5k’s, and $25k’s that end tomorrow.

I will get out DM’s tomorrow afternoon to start making arrangements for payment/shipping and will ship Monday.

From that TCR thread it seemed to me that there clearly was consensus that the Harrah's Casino chips were very likely leaded just not as leaded as the heavier Harrah's chips, and they have a different composition than the Harrah's chips.
