I want that!@TheChipRoom you think you can get chips from Louisiana? Looks like they've got a spotted, hot-stamped tourney set.

These are obsolete but the rest of the chips seem to match, so they probably use the same 1k design on the new ones:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/regulations/louisiana/La-Admin-Code-tit-42-Part-III-SS4315IIRC Louisiana doesn’t allow retired chips to be sold. Not positive but I heard that from a guy that bought a bunch of casino gear from IoC Lake Charles.
Which means it's possible for them to get approved to resell to Jim, as it does not require destruction explicitly. I believe Missouri5. destruction or such other disposition of the discontinued chips and tokens as the division may approve or require.
I think the River City situation was a little different. From what I’ve found online, they never paid Paulson for the chips and other equipment (tables, layouts, etc). Paulson was allowed to repo their assets, when the casinos went under. Paulson stamped the cancellation starburst on the chips, and sold them through their retail store in LV.I know some of these chips are out there, so I dont know if they destroy them unless that is a newer law. https://rubescasinochips.com/collection-casino-chips-tokens/louisiana-chip-token-casino/
I see River City selling on here from time to time.
“Paulson Retail Store”.... ah, what times those must have been!I think the River City situation was a little different. They are still reeling from the economic effects of this devastating pandemic. Selling unneeded assets would allow some relief, and help keep struggling families stay employed.https://www.law.cornell.edu/regulations/louisiana/La-Admin-Code-tit-42-Part-III-SS4315
It says:

Just to let you know, Harrahs is not selling the property. Its parent company Caesars is doing a 350 million dollar improvement to that area of New Orleans. I do know that New Orleans needs tourism, and so sales are down at Harrahs, but a failing company does not invest 350 million into a project. Thus, I am not sure about if the chips will be changed out. The name on the front will be Caesars but I dont know if the chips will follow suit. They are still reeling from the economic effects of this devastating pandemic. I was just getting their language ready for filing with the gaming commission.Just to let you know, Harrahs is not selling the property. I believe by law, the chips have to reflect the name of the casino. So Harrah's will be out and Caesars New Orleans will be in.Just to let you know, Harrahs is not selling the property. I sure hope that is the case. It isnt until 2024, so we have some time left to be sure.I believe by law, the chips have to reflect the name of the casino. So Harrah's will be out and Caesars New Orleans will be in.
Just like Horseshoe Southern Indiana became Caesars Southern Indiana hence all of the HSI chips here.I believe by law, the chips have to reflect the name of the casino. So Harrah's will be out and Caesars New Orleans will be in.
If they can be acquired chances are that only the mint secondary will be available. Unless things change. Although oversized inlays on house mold might not be everyone’s favorite.I looooove these cash game chips. Start saving your pennies. It would be amazing if they had any mint cash chips.
Nope. But I imagine they are spectacular.I bought and sold PNY’s two hundred and seven times so I’m ready
Got a pic of the secondaries?
New chips are out:I heard that new Caesar chip were out, can anyone verify this for me and possibly get me some if true?
