Hey all, my name is Lee and I live in Bellevue, WA (across the water from Seattle).

About a year ago I was bitten by the NLHE bug. I came to this forum (by way of Google) looking for a single chip to buy to use as a card protector. (Ended up buying one of @Chris123 's Horseshoe Cleveland 25K chips.)

Now I spend an hour a day poring over the chip pr0n, the marketplace, daydreaming about what to buy, tourney or cash, what breakdown, clay, ceramic, hot-stamped, etc., etc. What have I gotten myself into? I think it is too late to turn back.

I'm not ready to pull the trigger yet, but I'll keep reading and will watch out for second-hand samples while I plot my first big purchase.

Cheers,
Lee

Amazed you have been lurking for a year and not bought yet! That is much more will power than 99% of us have!!!

Welcome and jump on your first set because it won't be your last.

You're better off than most folks here. At least you know the sickness is strong within you. That's a start :).

Welcome! There's quite a Northwest contingent! I'm sure you'll find the perfect chips for you!

Welcome, you can check in but you can never leave...

May your wallet be empty and your CHIP racks be full..

Make sure you get samples of anything you think you want, it is much easier to know exactly what you like with chip in hand.....

Maybe if you cancelled your phone/electricity/internet services you could still escape? The chips are pretty nice here though!

Once the monkey is on your back, running won't do you any good, they are strong little buggers. And this place is like the worst 12 step chip addiction program ever..... ;)

Welcome and hang on.
