Hey guys and girls. I’ve been lurking here for a week or 2 and decided to register to say thanks for all the info. I found this site while trying to identify a chipset my wife got me probably about 15 years ago. Finally found out what they are. But along the way I found a lot of info, and the pics of tables and chips and home games keep me coming back. So thanks to all.

Welcome!! Glad you were able to find the info you were looking for!! The forum is loaded with info and great members!!! Hope you stick around!!!
So what set do you own??

You should know then we want PRON! Welcome and stick around!

Thanks for the welcome. Turns out they are BBC Modern Clays. They seem to me (rookie chip guy) to be nice chips.

Not crazy about the break down. I’m no game setup pro, but this setup gives me headaches. I guess it’s more of a cash game setup than tourney. You guys are the smart ones so maybe you have a better idea of how to use them

100-.50
200-1.00
75-2.00
75-5.00
25-25.00
15-100
10-500

Any suggestions?

Welcome.

You can find more of these here if you’re patient. There’s are a few members here trying to add onto their sets such as @Big Money in case you decide to sell them.

Welcome to the forum! Very cool chips!

It's an awkward breakdown, but certainly useable for a small .50/.50 or .50/1 game. Maybe you can track down more $5's and $25's. The $2's aren't terribly useful in this set, which is a shame, because they're my favorite chip of the bunch.

A fairly typical breakdown for a cash game would be something like:
.50 x 100
$1 x 200
$5 x 200-400 (depending on how big of a bank you need)
$25 x 80
$100 x 20

It's definitely not a perfect breakdown but it is better than the Walmart specials. I personally would find market price for the 2s, 500s, and 100s and sell or trade them and get more 1s and 5s. Usually those bigger chips you have are worth more money, I'm clueless on this set value though.

small cash game seems best.
The idea of finding value for the 2’s 100s and 500s could be an option too. I have no idea of value either. I’ll keep doing my research and see what happens.
Thanks again everyone.

1st thing I would do is sell them to me and spend the cash on something nice for your wife. :wow:

That could potentially be a possibility. If I decide to sell them I’ll keep u in mind.
