Joined Saturday to participate in Sunday's chip sale. I have played poker from when the Stardust was open. At the time it was about to close and the casino had just introduced a new chip. I was staying at the property on the poker room rate, play 4 hours daily get a room for 19$. Weekend came and they were sold out. Walked over to Circus Circus and got a room for a few nights. Next day I was back at the Dust. Walked to the main cage and asked for the new 1$ chip. The cashier asked me how many I wanted and said we have the newest ones in boxes. I asked how many is in a box. When the cashier said one hundred, I thought wow, how can I budget and get the chips with a few days remaining on my trip. I get ten chips and plan on getting more on my final day. At that time I realize that Paulsons at the Dust are far superior to the ceramics at CC. Everyone knows now where this story is going, no I did not go busto! Played 3-6 limit all trip and made a profit, so I decided to save my money for future trips and chose not to buy those perfect chips.
