Hello from Los Angeles! New to the forum and I'm excited to see what this community is all about.

Welcome to the Asylum! You really want to know what this place is all about? Here's the progression of a typical newcomer.

Day 1: Wow, this is a cool place! I hope everyone here can help me find that one best inexpensive poker chip set that's just right for me?

Day 7: I never had any idea there were so many different kinds of chips! Those Paulsons sure are nice, but they are way above my budget. That's okay, there are plenty of cool ceramic and china clay chips that I can afford.

Day 14: Maybe if I tweak my budget a bit, and only get the bare minimum number I need, I can swing that RHC set.

Day 30: RHC is just not going to be good enough. I have to have some leaded THC chips. When my wife sees how awesome they are, she isn't even going to care that I busted the budget. These chips are MORE than worth the cost!

Day 60: Hmmm... Wonder if I can get that third set of cash chips if I take just a couple thousand more out of my 401K? TRKs are the bomb. I just don't see how I can live without those chips.

If you know what's good for you and your pocket book, you will log out of here and NEVER COME BACK!
