Well....I'm an American (originally from PA) who married a girl from Derry. Moved over here in 2004. Now married with two kids. I brought with me a love for all things Poker!! Lots of games to be found here but no chip enthusiasts so was happy to find PCF online. Looking for my fist set of chips and was considering buying new CC Dunes. But was wondering if I should bid on a used set that pops up in classifieds now and then. I organise games in my house about 4 times/year. Still undecided if I want a tourney or cash set. Any advice? I also have family still in the States that I can ship to when I do purchase something, so int'l shipping/customs etc. isn't an issue. Thanks in advance for any help!!

As far as purchasing, I would go used ... you know any sets on PCF will be exactly as described and well taken care of.
As far as tourney or cash, all depends on your crowd. Though you could double up your tourney set as a cash set (T25 as quarters, T100s as $1, T500 as $5, etc)
