Hahahaha ok maybe not the RAREST but beauty/value is in the eye of the beholder right? I was looking for the JO 'Littleman' Popwell Hall of Fame chip from Binion's casino. He was inducted in 1995 and after absolutely SCOURING the interwebz there was exactly ONE on eBay but part of a complete set. The other one was from a deactivated post on here by RossB42 from 2017 who was also selling a set but had an extra JO Popwell chip.

JO is not widely known in the poker community anymore but he was the 23rd person inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. He was known to be a gambler's gambler and did so in the last years of his life. He was also known to be a respectable man of great moral character. There was a toy store owner that was way behind on his gambling debts to JO. JO allowed him to pay him in toys and gave those toys to less fortunate children in rural Alabama. Some described him as generous to a fault.

He's still part of legend/folklore for some older folks in Alabama. Anywho, I am of distant relation to the guy and share that peculiar last name. I've been a student/lover of the game for a while and when I found out he had a chip out there I had to get it... it's going to make one heckuva card guard!

I still can't believe that there were like TWO on the internet and this one was such a long shot but worked out! Happy Happy man on this forum lol
