Hello everyone. Great community here. I've built 2 poker tables previously but want to build one now for home games. 10 spot with dealer spot and tray. should I do standard size or try to find a way to make it longer to accommodate? Thanks for any info!

Hello and welcome!

I'm sure you'll find lots of answers in the Table Build thread, but a capsule-shaped table with outside dimensions 44-48" x 88-96" should fit 10 + dedicated dealer nicely. Count on a 5-6" rail, maybe.

A full 8' long table is doable for 10 plus a dealer but a little tight unless you've got smaller players. I typically go with 8.5' to 9' for a dealer table.

10' plywood sheets. You can also try joining 8' sheets, but IMHO the extra cost for the longer sheets is worth it vs the additional joinery time & effort.
