I would like to run a circus night // dealer's choice at some point, but to date the standard game as been:
$0.25 / $0.50 NLHE, initial buy-in $40-$75, then table stakes after that. No rake obv. The game can get pretty deep at times (which is fun) but not so deep that people feel bad after having a poor night.
It's in west Harlem. Not the most convenient but I have a few friends in Queens and am there regularly so I know it's doable.

Also, I usually drive in from NJ, so I can drop people off at convenient train stops after the game breaks.
That'll definitely be fun... I have a set of Abby99's mixed game cards I can bring, if you like - but I recommend choosing a subset as available for the night. There are a LOT of choices and variants in there.

Very interesting. I've been looking for new games in which to participate. Only thing is Hold Em isn't really my game. I'd def like to make out sometime soon, though. But if the circus games ever run and you need to fill a seat, I don't think I'll be able to stay away!

Be sure to post your CPC ordering exploits, even if just in the design phase. Lots of great suggestions and feedback to be had to help make the set YOUR perfect set. Often times people don't know what they don't know.. And suggestions from members on your design, might spark some "aha" moments? Just never know. It'd be cool to see your designs, regardless.
