Hello from NYC (1 Viewer)

Hey Chip nerds! (it's ok to call other people nerds when you're one yourself right?)

I've always been a poker player, but never did I realize the magically addiction / sickness that is chip collecting until discovering the force in a colleague about 6 months ago. Since then I've bought and sold 4 different sets of chips. Mainly, I just can't decide what I like best!

Right now, I have three sets:
600 Royal Yaks cash game set
550 Paulson Pharaoh cash game set
1400 Paulson President Casino New Yorker cash game set (although I'm desperately trying to find those $1s like everyone else so it seems...)

Anyway, just wanted to give a shout out and introduce myself. If anyone knows a fairy godmother that has, say, 200 - 300 PNY $1s I would love to meet her

I *had* a 900 Chipco Presidential limited edition cash game set that I sold off because they were just too nice to use in play.

I've probably met 3 or 4 on chiptalk and PCF that live in NYC so perhaps it's possible. Maybe start a thread on that?

Haha unfortunately, not at all. Rochester is about 5 hours away.

You shouldn't be -- I like Chipcos, and have several sets, but IMO, those are not at all attractive, and include at least two generally useless denominations. They're tourist bait. The other sets you've acquired are all much, much nicer.
