Hello from Okinawa (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

I'm just a poker starved contractor working out in Okinawa. Someone invite me to home game out here, lol.

I have been browsing the forum off and on over the years and learned a lot from the PCF community and just recently I made my first purchase from the classifieds. In fact, I made several purchases from the classifieds and received my first shipment today from @wetfoot. I am still waiting on some chips to arrive from @rjdev7 and @Keyser Soze which should arrive any day now. I might have to start selling my excess chips soon if only I can get 10 posts somehow.

Even though I've picked up quite a lot of them this past couple weeks, I'm still trying to find some more Chipco Egyptians. If anyone can point me to a seller.

I've only handled/own ceramics and china clays but looking for a set of something like Paulson.
So... about these Paulson Elites... I've been waiting for more info/reviews from people who have them.

I am a huge fan of the Elites but I think the Monaco chips look better with the shaped inlays. They feel great and look better in person than the pics reflect. I would def recommend the Monaco chips just be careful once you feel that paulsony chaulky feel its tough to go back and enjoy China Clays.

@Lemonzest Thanks for the Elite review. I have seen negative and positive opinions on forum, but the people who own them have been positive. Perhaps my next payday I'll pull the trigger and pick up a 2 table cash set. Something like 200-.25/200-1/400-5/160-25/40-100. If we end up with more than 10k on those tables...:wideeyed:

When I was ready to get some Paulson, I found out they stopped putting out to lowly consumer peasants and by then chips was going for x3 to x6 a chip. So I settled for some China clays .

I have a house in Odessa but never really lived in it yet, lol. I rent it out. My kids are from there but they are living with me in Okinawa at the moment.

Welcome man! My aunt was stationed in Okinawa for 10 years and moonlighted as a scuba instructor as well. Always sad I never made it out to visit.

It's just a little windy, not bad really. Maybe tomorrow some cars will start flying around, I doubt it though, lol.

I'll prolly be in the Friday Night PCF/P* Poker Tournament with ahpl and BGinGA laying the smack down. Some of yall should join us, its fun losing to those 2, lol.

I've got no card skills whatsoever, except maybe dealing, so that's why I do things for charity! At least when I lose all my money I know it goes to a good cause!
