Hi gang. New member here from Orange County. Just starting to dip my toes into the hobby, and I want to get myself established on the forum so that I can hopefully get in on some group buys in the future. I found y'all from watching Hobbyphilic (what a gem he is!).
I'm a long-time casual gambler and poker player. I just invested in a nice gaming table, and I figured it was time to upgrade to a higher calibre of chip to go along with it. I looooove the way real casino chips feel, and I knew there had to be a way to be a way to get chips with a more authentic feel (or at least that felt better than the metal insert dice chips I've been lugging around since 2005).
Two weeks of the YouTube algorithm going to work on me and 10 chip sample sets later, and here I am with you all. Looking forward to building my collection and being a part of this community.
PS - anyone have any recommendations on a first set to buy?
