Hey y'all,
I know very little about poker, but have been researching starter chip sets to find a good one for my fiancé, who is an avid player. I have refurbished a poker table my grandfather made 50 years ago as a wedding present for him next month and am trying to find the best chip set to buy to go along with it!

Hello and welcome! Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. I'm sure that the refurbished table looks great, and remains an heirloom in your family.

But a word of warning - do everything in your power to make sure your spouse-to-be does NOT become a member of this site. Otherwise it's going to be 24/7 talk of poker chips, values, deals, customization, and a real danger to any hobby budget. :)

Hi there. He plays cash about 6-8 people per game and medium to high stakes. Any suggestions on the best chips I can get him?
