Hello, :)
I'm new here. I wanted to buy some new poker gear and came across discussions in this forum which have been pretty helpful so far. Nice to meet you all.

Well sir, you certainly came to the right place for gear! It's nice to meet you also:tup:

Im curious, which topics of discussions have you come across?

Have fun!

Thank you all for the warm welcome! :)

To answer Ford's question, I got the username awhile back for a videogame where I needed a name. I liked the sound of the a couple of sports player's last names. I had heard "Turkalou" and "Pabblebahn" a ton on sports radio and loved those two last names, so it was between them to make something that sounded similar. I think the first guy is a bball player and the second one a baseball player, lol. Never looked into it much otherwise, haha. I ended up choosing the first one obviously. hehe.

To answer Jeevan's question, I was reading about different preferences for playing cards. I ended up ordering a set of Kem and Copag so far (no Desjgn yet, although it seems that is a majority favorite). I've had Kem cards in the past, but haven't for many years. I haven't played poker in awhile and was interested in finding out the way to go these days. I will probably order a couple more sets of cards based on what was relayed in those threads to test some more out. I received the cards in the mail today. The Kems were poker sized and the copags were bridge sized. After fooling around with cards a bit, I prefer the feel of the Kems but wish I had ordered them in bridge size like the Copags. I'll probably have to get another set in bridge size.
