Hey PCF. My name is Mike and I've been sober for 8 years now.....Oh wait this isn't AA.

This is my first poker chip forum site. I love Texas Hold'em and have been playing for about 10 years. I am ready for a really good casino quality chip set. I found this site while trying to google places to buy Paulsons or similar casino quality chip set. I've gone through many samples and I want multiple sets.
You guys are so fast on this site when someone is selling but maybe it's just because I work nights that I'm behind by the time I see the posts.

I've been checking out some of the tons of useful knowledge you all have over me when it comes to poker chips and looking forward to all the help in learning and draining my wallet.

I may need GA though with the Rivers Casino that just opened up 5 minutes from my house.

Have you made it over to Rivers yet? Chips are actually pretty decent and it's been non-stop action since they opened a week ago.

Funny you ask. I wanted to tell I've been reading through your thread you put on for rivers and all my friends and coworkers went but I haven't yet. I've been trying to wait for the tourneys. They said they are going to put up a schedule in march I believe.
I should just give in and hit it before then but I heard how busy it was. I was trying to wait for it to die down a little.

Welcome! I know what you what you mean about speed of transactions...the goods fly off the shelves pretty quick around here even in early morning hours. I guess there is also some reassurance to that...there will be demand and a place to trade/sell if you change your mind on a set or decide you want to exchange, expand or upgrade.
