Hi everyone, been playing poker for years and just retired from the Army so decided id start playing a weekly game. Been on the market for good chips and found this forum in my searching of the net. Seems like a wonderful community here and a ton of knowledge so look forward to learning quite a bit.

Though be careful, what started as "let me just get some advice on some poker chips" to ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh crap I now have a used casino set, a group buy pre order, a China clay pre order, some TRKs and a start of a PNY set.... That was 4 months ago and I'm not even that bad. There are others with the same affliction, just a more serious case.

Welcome - I second @SemiNumerical - it's very easy to start buying things without a plan and then you wind up with odds and ends that don't really go together. If you're looking to be a collector that's fine, but if you're just looking for quality chips to play with that can be frustrating.

Thanks everyone, I have ordered samples of Nexgen, Milano, Pharoahs, Majestics, Scrolls, and just made a small purchase of Paulson TH&C. I love the Paulsons and will expand this hopefully as they are beautiful and handle wonderfully. Question for memeber here please; how do i leave a rating for someone that I made a purchase from?

Just a quick head's up on the Majestics... they are great chips, and I love my custom labeled set, but be aware that the molds are not perfect, and there are actually two different diameter sizes. It's not a big deal, but you notice it when the chips are in racks, as the wider chips "stick out" a little. If you're OCD, this is something you'll want to know about before you order.

As for leaving feedback, you can click on the username of the person you want to leave feedback for, and then click the "View Trading Profile" link to see/add feedback. There is an orange "Add Feedback" button at the top of the page to add a new review, but you probably don't have permissions to do that yet - so the button may not be there. To get more permissions, just keep on posting!

thanks for the heads up on the posting abilities. i did notice quite a few threads on the majestics and the oblong issues. as of now i think i am going to stick with the paulson th&c for sure, though i may pick up a set of the majestics for my travel set.......as many have said though i could see many sets in my near future lol.
