For playing .05 blinds up to .25. Using ASM or CPS blanks or HS for nickels.

Option 1: Aria $1 and either the Greektown, Motor City (3 edgespots) ir the MGM Grand quarters.

Option 2: Foxwood $1 and either Argosy Alton (assuming these are not part of the batch that was returned and canceled) or Grand Victoria Casino.

I think I'm leaning slightly towards option 1 because I like having inlays vs HS.

Which of these do you think looks the best.

Which one is probably gonna be the easiest/cheapest to put together.

Thanks for your input as always!

Well, personally, I kind of like the Foxwoods more than the Aria with any of the three Detroit fractional chips.

The $1 chip is easy--it'll cost you a buck per chip of you go to either of those casinos. The fracs are harder to come by and are far more spendy.

I'd go with whichever frac I could get in quantity at a reasonable price, then pick the $1. But I think the Foxwoods $1 might be the better choice.

I suppose I could do the Foxwoods with any of the three top quarters as well.

That's basically the plan at this point.

The other thing is that I will probably buy less that a rack a time, probably a barrel or two, which I supposed lends itself to people harvesting them.

MGMs look bananas with the Foxwoods $1s. This is what you want. (Lifted this pic of another thread, where the poster is looking for the MGMs as well. You only need one rack of fracs for a single table.)

Plus, both are MGM-branded in this pic (Foxwoods isn't still MGM-branded, but you might find the older Foxwoods chips).

I've only been here for a year, but I've never seen greektown quarters for sale. So that option would not be the easiest to put together.

I've used the search tool and I don't think I've seen them pop up either, usually either mgm or motor city

I think Motor City looks best with Aria because both have darker inlays. Greek town and MGM look better with Foxwoods.

I've never noticed chips with GPI hotstamped into them.
Was this a short-lived thing?

Many regulatory bodies require a "manufacturer's mark" of some type to appear on value checks (sometimes non-value chips, too). Various regulatory rules define it differently..... and some accept the hat & cane mold impression(s) as such a mark. House molds in those jurisdictions require either a H&C on the house mold, or a separate manufacturer's mark on the inlay or hot-stamp. I've seen both used.

No clue what the rules are in Illinois, but it may be that just the hat & cane mold markings are not sufficient to meet their requirements.
