I'm trying to figure out the breakdown of chips I need for my Rounders CSQ mold order. I'm looking to go with the following chip denominations:
25/100/500/2000/10000
I would like to keep this to a maximum of a 500 or 550 chip set (actually my wallet would like me to keep it to that not my heart).
8 Players Max
We typically only get 2-4 rebuys per tournament.
At least 150-300BB's preferred or whatever will give us a 3 to 3 1/2 hour tournament and still give us plenty of chips on the table!
I've been toying with the following T10k chip starting stacks:
20/15/8/2 (45 chips) (the more the better!)
With the following chip breakdown totals: 200x25's, 160x100's, 100x500's, 30x2000's, 10x10,000's. Total bank of 231,000. Total Chips in set: 500
or
16/16/8/2 (42 chips)
With the following chip breakdown totals: 200x25's, 200x100's, 100x500's, 20x2000's, 20x10,000's. Total bank of 315,000. Total Chips in set: 540
I tend to like this breakdown of chips because it gives me full racks of the 25's, 100's, and 500's. I'm just trying to justify ordering more then 500 chips.
Both starting stacks would work with either breakdown of chips I'm just trying to find the best compromise between starting stacks and my chip quantities. Obviously the less I spend the better so keeping it at 500 is appealing but I feel like the 540 gives me a better range and availability for bigger games down the road.
Thoughts? Maybe I'm way off with everything and a completely different breakdown of chips would be better. I just know I want a lot of 25's, 100's, and 500's on the table.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
