Hey y'all, I just signed up for this site since I'm trying to find a nice poker set for tournament and in cash game. My friends told me about this for out of business casino. Chipsets and it looks like I have to do three posts so I do apologize about this and if anyone has any suggestions of what else I could do please let me know. Thank you!

Once you've posted enough, check the classifieds and you'll see some old casino sets for sale.

You can also go to classic poker chips for clay casino quality customs, or their stock designs.

Get samples before you spend thousands.

Posts include replies i think. Check out the forums and reply to some topics.

welcome. take your time and buy samples before you commit to an expensive purchase - there is a LOT to absorb in this hobby.

Hi and welcome.
As a fellow newbie I can all but promise you will find a ‘nice poker set’ - and then you’ll find another, and then you’ll dream up another set built around a particular chip you love, and then you’ll want a Cali version, and then…. well you get the idea!
YMMV here on PCF, but permit me to suggest: read thru the new members info stuff, join in on threads that interest you, ask questions after researching.
Cheers!

I would highly recommend checking out the beginner's guide: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/new-members-start-here.85303/

And as others have said, get samples.

The Classifieds usually have a few full sets for sale if you're looking for casino-quality chips. As you'll soon see there are plenty of other options if it's out of your price range or you want something else.
