Help from Someone with Graphic Design Experience - Template to make playing card boxes (2 Viewers)

With all the group buys we've been having lately, and the cards coming in cellophane, I've now got a crapload of card setups (both bridge and poker size) and nothing to put them in once I rip off the wrapper.

So I went looking, and I found this:

Very cheap, but it doesn't state the size. Comments mention re-sizing, but I'm not sure exactly how to do this as I don't really use any graphics programs. (tried to piddle with inkscape but got frustrated)

Also, with all the custom ceramic chips having been ordered recently, I know I'd like to put my logo onto the template also before I print it onto card stock with my laser printer. Is that something that is also easily doable with this template? If someone can help me get started, I'll then share the template and help others put their logos on it.

This one costs a bit more, but it gives dimensions as poker size. Would it be better?

Get these and just glue your logo to the outside. More durable.

Thanks, but I'm really just looking for some advice on one of the DIY templates in my first post. It seems like these would be really easy and cheap. I just don't have a lot of experience with the graphics programs needed to make the adjustments or add on a logo. I'm just asking if someone here who does can give me a pointer or two, or tell me if one of these is better than the other.

Honestly, the are all dirt cheap, so if no one has any input, then I'll just make a choice and start playing around with one of them.

Thanks! I did end up buying a couple of the templates in my first post. One of them, the cheap one, was total garbage and not even close to the right size for a deck of cards. Then I got a reply back from the more expensive one. She sounded like she knew what she was doing so I went ahead and purchase hers as well which is poker size. She offered to make another one for me that's Bridge size for an additional cost. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I'm not quite sure what to do with your files. I don't know how to use Adobe Illustrator.

I did buy a poker size template. I printed one out on regular paper, and the sizing is good! I need to get some card stock, and then work on getting my logo onto the template as well. Been swamped with work lately so not enough play time for projects like this.

Here you can find a sheet of construction paper to print and cut out a card box by yourself. You can adjust the values.

For my KEM cards (poker size) I used the following dimensions (mm). If you want a little more air in the box, just add a millimeter each value.

Length: 64 mm
Width: 18 mm
Height: 89 mm

Optional parameters:
Thumb Hole Diameter: 0
Tuck Flap Size: 20
Glue Flap Size: 15
Glue Flap Angle: 80°
Material thickness: 0.5
Rounded Corners Radius: 15

With a little bit of experience in graphics-software you can create your own custom design, so the card box matches to the theme on your chips.
