I like to collect $1 and $2.50 chips from various casinos. Since my mom goes to AC frequently, so I have asked her to grab me a chip or two when she can. On her last visit, she got me a $1 and a $2.50 from the Tropicana. Nice looking chips, see below, but they don't seem to be clay? They feel and sound more plastic than clay. But there is some wear and flea bites from them that seem to indicate they are clay. Does anyone know what these chips are? I'm just curious. Thanks.

I understand your question, because I've also found that worn Paulsons with giant inlays can feel plasticky.
