First post was cancelled by an admin. I wasn't aware the sites auction terms had been updated recently so here are the updated auction tems:

Rare Limited Series 1994 Paulson THC Sinatra $10 Foxwoods chips.

Foxwoods put out Limited Edition chips for Frank Sinatra, opera legend Luciano Pavarotti and singers Tony Bennett and Paul Anka (the Anka chip is different than the rest) in 1994-1995.

Auction is for a half rack (50 chips) They are Mint, almost untouched, stored away in plastic baggies.

These list for $35-$40 each, (when you can find them. and condition is questionable)

I'm starting the auction at $1000. No reserve.

I auctioned a single chip a few weeks ago that went for $36 and the buyer took several chips.

This stash was a legit once in a lifetime "barn find" on these 25 year old untouched Paulsons. I can all but guarantee you'll never find a barrel, let alone half rack of these anywhere in any condition. Ever. These are basically only touched to put into baggies.

I'm not sure if there are any big collectors here and I think you'd be crazy to play with these so we'll see what happens. The lot may be too big.
If that's the case then I'll consider breaking it into 2 barrels and 10 loosies. Again, we'll see.

Here's an article that mentions them:

RULES

  1. STARTING BID: [$1000.00]
  2. Bids must be placed using numbers (no images) in minimum increments of $ [5.00]
  3. NO RESERVE. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
  4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
  5. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid at [9:00, Eastern, Friday Febuary 22, 2019] will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be within 5 minutes after the latest bid was posted. A bid at the close time is NOT a valid bid. Since seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, the following examples will be used as a reference.

Example #1: If the close time is 3:00pm, any bid at 2:56pm up to and including 2:59pm is valid and extends the auction for another 5 minutes.
Example #2: If the close time is 3:00pm, a bid at 2:55pm does not extend the auction.
Example #3: If a bid is placed at 2:56pm, the auction now closes at 3:01pm. A bid at 3:01pm is not a valid bid.
Example #4: If the close time is 3:05pm, and a bid is placed at 3:04pm, the auction now closes at 3:09pm.

  6. Edited posts will be voided. (note: ALL edits are logged instantly even if done within the small time frame before the 'last edited' message is shown)
  7. I reserve the right to: 1) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; 2) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
  8. PCF (it's Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.

They look really cool. I would love one if you decide to split and sell individually. GLWS.

BTW, PCFers, do you folks know if these are leaded or not?

Likely 47% leaded from what I've read.

Does anyone have a chipguide and can look up rarity? I’m seeing them all over the place so can’t be more than R-2? R-3?

I'm not saying this is the rarest poker chip. Not by a long shot. I've heard of super rares in the $10k plus range. But what I'm saying is you won't find 50 of those in a lot. This is a lot of 50 rare chips. Hence the "rarest half rack". If you ran around and bought all the ones on eBay you'd have 6 chips total in various conditions and all but 1 are priced over the price per chip of this auction. I knew a lot of this size would be a problem. If i listed 5 chips at the same price per chip they'd be sold in minutes.

Don’t apologize. You can sell them at whatever price you want.

I got one last week, and it's a rather fun card cap. I wish it had some edgespots, but the back signature side is beautiful.
