I was lucky enough to be able to acquire this set from the Heritage Inn in Great Falls, Montana.
It opened in the early 70’s and spread at least one table of poker until 2018 according to the Chipguide. It now is called Max Casino.I’m hoping to get some pictures or stories of the room.
The colors are great and these seem to have been made by a poker player for poker. The most wear is on the purple .25’s and the gray $1’s. No red $5’s were acquired. (I’m guessing those looked worse than the $1’s and these were the primary chips)
The blue $5’s have seen some play but are still in great shape. The dark blue $1’s are sharp but some have a dusty square mark on them I was not able to get off. Stamps look great.
The fracs are all wicked nice, especially the pinks. Playable amount and totally mint. The yellow and brown .50’s look to be older, softer Paulsons.
The pinks look to be add-ons and made later. As well as the dark blue $1’s black $10.00 chips. Not too many of the .50’s or the purple .25’s
