Hello everyone,
This has been an awesome site that I've enjoyed! I've been registered at pokerchipforum.com for awhile, but never posted anything in the forum. I guess I'm consider a newbie and I am because I'm not sure what makes you an official member? I also like to add, I've notice most of you have some amazing set of chips! It's been a pleasure seeing your sets! Thanks for sharing your pics!

Welcome friend!! Wow... member since 2017 and still new member.. does the screen not still tell you what you need to do? Can you post in for sale adds or still have restrictions? If you still can't post you need to make 10 posts/comments and those will be lifted. I believe at that point your status should change from new member to sitting out! I'm sure a moderator like @Payback wouldn't mind shedding more light on the subject... if you have been around that long seems like you probably have at least some chips... sharing what you have and how you came to own them/types of games your group plays all count as post to get that number lifted and restrictions off! Anything I can help with feel free to send me or members with more experience a PM, almost everyone here is willing to help a fellow member!! Chipping buddy Ben

It's basically in place to prevent people from signing up and then posting in the classifieds. There has been talk of removing it, but we've decided to retain it in the meantime for the protection of all members as it deters spammers and trolls.

Thank you for the information! I believe I still have restrictions because I can't post in sale adds? But If I make comments would that be counted or considered a post? Where Do I navigate to write about my chips and how I acquired them? Would it be the same place I gave my introduction? Thank you again so much ! I do play online at PokerStars. I really enjoy high low Omaha

Not really. They were merged into one post. Per the Site Guidelines we ask members to use the multi-quote and or edit feature to avoid making consecutive posts for the sake of padding their post count.
