Hello all,

I weathered the storm but couldn't fight off the urge to join the crew. Also missed the memo about having a real username. Whoops. We teach friends and play everything between .05/.10 to 1/3. Playing an old school crown wheatear di Vinci set but looking to upgrade to Majestics. I am hoping not to get addicted and blow my whole bankroll on chips. Then again... it is better than bluff shoving your stack with nothing to show for it.

It might be short notice but we are holding an event in San Antonio next month -----> All in at the Alamo on October 12th through 15th. The main event is booked for now, but I expect there will be people who can't come, leaving a seat open. I think there could be almost non-stop poker from Thursday to Sunday. (mostly $0.25/$0.50 games, less holdem and more "circus" games).

I expect a good time will be had by all plus a lot of neat people to meet, plus a number of fine poker chip sets to enjoy. The River Walk is beautiful in the fall. My wife is coming just to enjoy the city - I would be shocked if she played a single hand of cards.

I know it is less than a month off, but if you can swing it you will be glad you did.
