Hi all, my name is Mike. I used to lurk and dabble on CT the past few years, then joined PCF and did the same thing for far too long.

I love poker, and thanks to all of you great people, I fell in love with chipping and learning to become a great host and guest too. As I've gotten older, fell on hard times, came upon great times, moved around a bit and started a family, my core friends and poker buddies have drifted off or moved away. This leaves me with the will to build an envy-worthy setup and to host as big a regular game and as fun a tourney as I used to, but unable to do it. I very recently acknowledged that, with or without an entourage around me, I desire developing a rec space or man cave that is luxurious and inviting, like so many of you have built. I love to host games, I love to take a monthly trip to the tables and there are good, trustworthy folks out there that feel the same. So, since life is short, I decided I'd like to become an active, social part of this community and see what, if any, friendships and invitations might arise organically from it.

It's also been amazingly difficult to join, organize or get to a regular home game in NYC or nearby parts of NJ these days. Here's hoping that changes too.

So thank you all for already allowing me to be part of a few things and I look forward to the future.

Aaaaand, here's a pic of my Milano set, my first "better than dice" chips. Never saw much table play but they got treated so well and fondled so much, my wife got jealous.

TL,DR - Hi PCF, I'm Mike and I have no friends. But I have chips, so welcome me. Posted a pic for proof and acceptance.

Hi Mike! I remember you from CT because my oldest is also named Ella so I guess your username fits me as well. Welcome to the madness!

Welcome aboard Mike. I run what used to be a monthly NLHE tourney in Woodbridge NJ, a couple of my regulars are from Staten Island. It's been tough getting enough together for a game lately for various reasons, but if you don't mind the bridge toll you're more than welcome to join us when I can actually get something up and running. I've been trying to post the game in the Home Game section here, or you can shoot me a PM.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you are in the right place.

Welcome Mike!

Many PCF members in NY and NJ. Hopefully you can gather together and play some cards from time to time.

(y)
