Hello there, I'm new (obviously), don't spend too much time on forums for the most part but it seems inevitable I end up here due to my search for my ideal poker chip set.

Currently still searching, have watched all of Jon Hobby's videos but still no luck in my own search. Might be a tad controversial but I'm more of a Bud Jones style fan than a Paulson one.

Fun fact: I'm actually legally blind so when playing live poker it becomes a bit more of a challenge due to not being able to see community cards well. Good thing every dealer I've ever had has been more than accommodating :p

Think that about covers my intro, hopefully I find what I'm looking for among these threads.

Would coin inlay chips help you out?
Contact @TheChipVault - he has bud jones coin inlay chips. You might be able to read the denominations with your fingertips.

Not exactly. I never learned Braille since I do still retain a fair amount of vision, it's difficult to explain how it works. But I do have some coin inlay chip samples and am not a fan. As long as the denominations are clear on the chips I'm usually pretty good with them.

Welcome(y)

Somehow, you will spend more and more time on PCF. Great community ;)

Welcome! I can understand a love of Bud Jones chips, they feel so awesome. I am also glad to hear there are people that disagree with me. If everyone loved all the same stuff I did I would be worried.

Hope you enjoy the forum, great group of people here.

One of the most welcoming forums I've been to tbh. And my love for Bud Jones simply comes from them being the provider for most of the casinos I've been to here in Aus. Plus I enjoy the much more vibrant designs that come from BJ chips over clays.

Cheers for the welcome mate.

Bud Jones are nice. I prefer Paulson but that is what makes the world go around. Different strokes for different folks. Although not Bud Jones chips there is a group buy on for some nice chips that resemble the chips from The Borgata. Nice chips with Red Denominations that are a decent size. Go to this link https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...ardwalks-group-buy-ii-the-order-thread.19689/

And Welcome to the madness!!

I'm already in for a sample set of both the iron banks and the boardwalks, cheers for the warm welcome mate.
