I was always curious about Poker and recently got into the game and statistics.

I started looking to the history of poker and chips... And I'm just annoyed that the cost to ship from US to the UK is so expensive!! So many beautiful chips!

Welcome friend!! While there are fewer collectors in Europe there are still members there that have already paid the expensive shipping and sell US chips regularly. I agree not as many options but they still exist. Hopefully you can find some barrels or smaller sets and figure out what you like before making a huge investment! You're now in good company of chip fanatics and I hope you have similar experiences as I have with members helping other members to get started!! Fellow chipper Ben

Shipping out of us to other countries is extremely high! Hope you can find some chips not overseas that you can enjoy and perhaps build some playable sets for yourself and some friends!! Looking forward to seeing posts from you in the future!!

IMO, there are fewer options for good chips in Euro, but the chip choices are polarized. They are either garbage or unbelievably beautiful. You don't find Euros with middle-of-the-road, flea-bitten Paulsons.
