I just finished trimming my neoprene sheet for my game slash poker table. I bought the 5mm nylon/nylon black/forest green sheet from hookloopoutlet.com and I have some extra if anybody wants a sample.

For $5 PayPal f/f, I will cut a piece, put it in a bubble mailer, and send it to you. It’s great stuff, the best playing surface I could ask for.

If you go to their website, I think the only size sheet they sell is ~51x83".

Standard Fiskars scissors. Everything else SUCKS. Not an exacto or utility knife or kitchen shears or rotary cutter. Just plain old straight blade paper scissors.

Here's how my cuts at the end worked out. Measure 2 or 3 or 4 times, THEN cut... I ended up with pretty straight lines.

Nope. It’s the foam and the playing surface all in one.

Interesting, been looking for a place like this. Which configuration did you get? Also trying to figure out color options—only seeing hook & loop colors on their site.

I got nylon nylon. So I have a reversible table topper, though I am only interested in the green. Most of their products have poor color choices. The 5mm nylon nylon had my forest green so 5mm was what I got.

I guessed what their colors would look like. There was one sheet I was looking at that said kiwi for the color. No pic of kiwi on the website, and they would not share one with me, so Forest green it was.

Pieces are about 6 x 3 inches. LOL at putting a piece of foam in a padded mailer.

I had to cut off pieces. My game table surface is 50 1/8 by 74 1/8.

I was going to go 3mm, but the color selection was terrible. I read good things on boardgamegeek about 5mm, and I am very happy with the robust thickness. Cue the out of context thread.
