SOLD Hornady "Lock n Load" Magnum 7L Sonic Cleaner (1 Viewer)

Bought this a couple of years ago to clean some chips I sold to slisk250 but then he got back in the country sooner and I never bothered (sorry Slisk250).

Its sat in my basement unopened and unused for a while. I saw a thread about it last week and realized someone on here might actually want it so I'm putting it up for sale.

$100 via PayPal and I'll cover shipping to anywhere in the US. Small uncharge if you want it shipped to Canada. I paid $250 for it. I'll throw in a salad spinner or two also.

I did open the box but never even pulled the machine out.

I haven't been that active on here recently. Been slowly cleaning up a few things around the house. If I get really motivated, I may put a few chips up for sale. Some of you around here know what I have.

I have a bunch of chips to clean. Once that is done if someone wants I can likely sell them the unit in the new year. Probably be cheapest for a Canadian though to avoid sending it back to the US.

If price is the main concern there are cheaper units to be had on eBay.

I've now got 2 salad spinners I'd like to sell for $50 each so I can afford to ship the Hornady cleaner to Canada.

Kidding.

Lemonzest was smart enough to decline those as they definitely would have cost more to ship than they're worth!

You will not regret it! It’s still work and takes time to clean chips but it beats the hell out of a mr clean sponge or tooth brush!!! They come out perfect...this is a great buy

That’s for sure I did 200 chips with a toothbrush and my hands are still throbbing , wish I had this machine

Bro I did like 500 one weekend and the next day thought I worked out, it was painful. Do the ultrasonics get the crap out of the top hats?

I did 50 without gloves on and wish I didn’t do without gloves lol them finished 150 more. I still got 360 to go ..... I think using a brush is the best way to go as it gets all the tiny cracks but I’m leaning towards getting one of these machines, my main set I use gets used 5hrs a week, after 6 mo I get little dirt specks in em

My best advice after doing so many is get a pile of old t shirts and use them for wiping/holding the chips, I'd soak a bunch in warm water and soap gently agitating them, then put the shirt over my open hand, put the chip in the middle of Palm go nuts with tooth brush, flip over repeat. Magic erage the sides of each chip and then lay out for drying. Total pain in the ass. But those suckers were spotless after.

I use a cutting board because the chips don’t slide on em, I soak 10 then remove 10 in a barrel and put them in the handle part of the cutting board so it holds them together and I brush the edges , I then put all 10 back in dawn water and grab one out and go at it with tooth brush on each side then drop into a clean water bucket and repeat till all 10 is in clear water then drop next 10 in dawn water while I remove the clean ones and place on a towel , I noticed this time around that my water turned slightly red after doing 50 red chips, my water is not hot just warm and use very little soap

Save your hands and get an inexpensive electric toothbrush if you're going the hand-scrubbing route. It's so much easier than a manual toothbrush and costs under $10.
