A member over on TCB posted a pic of the new chips at Tioga Downs. First I recall seeing ceramic hybrids used at a casino; first I recall seeing any "house" hybrid mold at all.

Have those been confirmed as actual hybrids? Sun-Fly also offers a ceramic blank with a defined 'center' area (not recessed) that can be printed, and the mold ring markings can be customized. Looks more like one of those (Lucid Diamond type) chips to me.

I've held them and they are not a hybrid. They are ceramic with a house mold. It doesn't have a recess at all. They are made by GOCC.

Ah, thanks! Had forgotten about those. I always thought those were a faux mold print. Didn't realize the lettering was molded!

Yeah, the casino name 'mold markings' are just printed. But they ~are~ casino ceramic hybrids.
